FAQ REGARDING CONCEPTION

The game seems rather ambitious for an Indie development, (not your usual first person shooter mod) what are your influences?

​

Well its going to be a prototype/demo, a proof of concept if you will. Game mechanics involve interaction located on sapient ecological creature's that create a dynamic and transient playing environment . The game's nearest influence is The Shadow Of the Colossus, in SOC's case you play as a single antagonist in our scenario you are a continent size creature with whole settlements of inhabitants under your guardianship. (military units and resources represented by particle effects)

Vivarium Seed presents strategic real time micro management of military units, combined with dynamic/emergent clamouring CQC combat. As opposed to Shadow of the Colossus, which has a human avatar that interfaces with the colossi who behave as a dynamic environmental puzzle to be defeated.

​

Other influences would be the Black and White series of games.
